Introduction
The Wastewater Lifting Unit is a kind of equipment used to lift waste water below the sewer or far away from the municipal pipe network to the drainage network. It is widely used in basements, subway stations, underground shopping malls and other places.
Working principle
Wastewater collection
Wastewater enters the water collection tank of the lifting device through the water inlet. The water collection tank is usually made of stainless steel, which has good corrosion resistance and sealing. The box is designed to be fully enclosed, with an exhaust pipe on the top to prevent odor leakage. There is a sewage outlet at the bottom to facilitate the emptying of sewage during maintenance. There is also a liquid level gauge in the box to monitor water level changes.
Solid-liquid separation
The water collection tank is equipped with a solid-liquid separation device, which is usually a stainless steel interception net. When wastewater containing solid debris enters the equipment, solid debris with a diameter greater than 10 mm is intercepted and retained in the solid-liquid separator. The separated sewage flows into the water collection tank. When the water pump is started, the pressurized water flow enters the solid-liquid separator through the backwash port, removes the solid debris, and lifts and discharges it to the outdoor pipe network. Each backwash can discharge all the debris in the solid-liquid separator without residue.
Pump start and drainage
When the water level in the water collection tank reaches the starting water level, the liquid level switch sends a signal to start the water pump. The water pump sucks sewage from the water collection tank, and after being pressurized by the pump body, it is discharged to the outside through the check valve. When the water level drops to the stop level, the water pump stops working and completes a working cycle. When the water volume is large or the equipment fails, the standby pump is automatically started to ensure the continuous operation of the system. When the water level reaches the alarm level, the equipment will send a sound signal or transmit the fault to the remote control room.
Automatic control and safety protection
The entire sewage lifting device adopts a fully automatic control system. When the water level reaches the high liquid level, the water pump is started to drain, and when it reaches the low liquid level, the pump is stopped. If the water flow rate of the tank is large, the single pump is too late to drain, and the device will start another water pump to ensure that the sewage in the water tank will not overflow. The equipment is also equipped with overcurrent and overload protection functions to ensure the safe and stable operation of the system.
